Market Facilitation

Market facilitation is a large part of Sasha’s work in Uganda. You might ask, what is market facilitation? Market facilitation is an intervention to stimulate a market while it is operating outside of the market itself. The intervention is primarily through helping foster relationships between actors within the market. A distinct feature of market facilitation that differentiates it from other traditional interventions is its light touch and exit strategy.
